Question:

We moved into our house in July 2003. It is about 10 years old or so and the cupboard doors under the kitchen sink are cheap oak I think and they are warped. I assume from water damage? Is there a way of trying to straighten them out.

Answer:

You'll probably have a problem with them because they are made up of several components. I have straightened cabinet doors by putting them flat in a damp place for months with weights on them. This hasn't always worked and in the cases where it did, it sometimes didn't last.
