Question:

Some of our interior bedroom doors always swing to the open position. Can't remember if you said to adjust the top or bottom with a shim to stop this and whether it goes on the door side of the hinge or the frame side.

Answer:

Put a level on the front edge of the door and that will tell you whether the top or bottom will have to be moved forward to keep it in one position. You don't want to get into trying to move it backward farther toward the jamb.
