Question:

The braces (brackets) that hold my door to the door frame; the screws that hold it in are not holding the brace to the doorframe. They will not tighten anymore. How do I get the screws to tighten so I can keep the door from falling off? Fill in the wood holes in the doorframe with something then re-screw in?

Answer:

Try using screws that are much longer (3") and/or longer and fatter.
