When cleaning out a basement hallway, we discovered that a latex interior paint can had overturned and left a hardened paint spill on our level loop carpet. The spill is approximately 4 inches in diameter and 1/8 inches thick. It is also embedded down in the pile. Can you help us to remove this without too much damage to the carpeting?
Answer:
Scissors or a sharp utility knife are about the most convenient tool to use here. Anything that will neutralize the paint will probably also neutralize the carpet fibre.
