Question:

My garage floor is disintegrating, at some spots it has turned to powder and stone. I was wondering what would be the cheapest solution to fix this. If I do decide to remove the old floor can I not remove all of the floor and just put concrete over top. Would pressure treated plywood be an option.

Answer:

PT lumber is not an option here but removing what's there is. This time, try not to work the concrete so much that a lot of water works its way to the surface. The less troweling the better.
