Question:

I was listening off and on this morning and thought I heard something about using wood for a garage floor. I didnt catch the whole conversation.

Answer:

I was talking about using 3X10 spruce boards on top of 4X4 cedar sleepers with the cavities between the sleepers filled with gravel right to the top. This makes a very good floor and it lasts better than concrete if you happen to be in an area where frost heaving is a major problem.
