Question:

I have an apartment that is built on concrete slab (with a wooden floor over it), located on the mainfloor of a small building. We would like to replace the current carpet with a floating floor, but wonder whether there is a risk for mould (as it appears to me that the floor can not "breath")? Is my thinking correct or do floating floors "breath"? Right now there is no problem whatsover with mould, but obviously I would like to keep it that way.

Back to Edith Bunker (if its working why fix it?)and her very apt abilities. A laminated floor, if properly installed, cannot breath and where you have air and nothing to move it about, mould will develope.
