Question:

We are renovating our bathroom and are very interested in getting laminated flooring installed. We've heard pros and cons with regards to this type of flooring for a bathroom. How resistant would it be to small amounts of water?

Answer:

The flooring you're talking about is very resistant indeed to water. The seams are glued in tongue and groove fashion and the surface is plastic laminate. You're not going to get very much more resistant with any other floor except sheet vinyl I guess.
