I am building at deck and at the highest section off the ground it is 3 feet, how high must I have the railing?
Answer:
In most safety concious jurisdictions, the rail has to be 42" high with the spindles not more than 4" apart. The bottom rail for the spingles must also be not more than 4" off the deck.
