Question:

Hi, Our house is five years old. Just wondering if duct cleaning is absolute necessary. We do change the air filter regularly and it doesn't look that dirty. Could please you tell me the pro & con about duct-cleaning and not? Also how could I choose a good contractor to do the cleaning? Some will give you a quote on the phone and add many other extras when they come to your house. What should be included in the standard price? When my sister had her duct cleaned, the contractor also charged her for cutting a hole in her air duct unit. Thanks!

Answer:

Hi, Duct cleaning for a home in 5 years should be done, even if you are changing your filters on a regular bases your duct work still holds dirt or dust which may not reach your furnace filter, thier are no cons to this aspect for indoor air quality. you can reach our office for more questions 1-888-725-0005 thanks
